We spent January 2003 on the Costa Brava in Spain near Palamos. This gave us a chance to get used to the new motorhome. At the end of January we headed south to Javea in Spain and tried out 'wild camping' for the first time.
We headed back to the UK for a while and then continued our travels in northern France. It was difficult to describe touring northern France and learning the war history. During June we describe our time in the Spanish Pyrinees, trying to climb a mountain and the heading back to the west coast of France.
During July we headed back to the Costa Brava in Spain.We found out what it is like during the summer months. We got burgled whilst we were asleep in the van but carried on regardless. We then fancied a change of country and drove accross the south of France to Italy. Our friends Paul,Katrina and Oscar flew out to Italy to stay with us in the motorhome and we gave them the full timing experience with a mixture of site seeing (including Rome and Pompeii), wildcamping, beach holiday and lakeside camping whilst in Italy.
From Italy we took the ferry accross to Corfu and had a month there. Staying at my sister's holiday villa with her family and Mum and Dad
