Jon and Linda Reed

We met Jon and Linda whilst driving accross Canada in 2004. A remarkable coincidence as they were travelling in an East/West Direction and we were heading the other way. We were at Thunder Bay and had actually left after a day there and turned round to pick up some milk. We were very curious to meet the owner of an English registered motorhome in the car park. We had been travelling this side of the Atlantic for 8 months and never seen a 'foreign' registered motorhome. We parked close enough to them so that they couldn't miss us and most dissapointingly they were out! We whiled away some time in the bookshop and on our return they appeared to be examining our number plate. It turns out they live about half an hour down the road from us in England. We have kept in touch and they have become great friends. This is a link to their website. www.lindaandjon.net. They are committed travellers as well and have had a motorhome custom built to their own specifications.

Jon and Linda with their 'World Cruiser'- Taffy

Jon and Linda have just set off in Taffy for a trip to countries bordering the mediterranean. We are feeling pretty envious and will be keeping up with them via their blog

Matt Adams

We were fortunate to meet Matt as he was about to have his supper at a steakhouse in Orlando in early 2008. He was very good company and didn't seem to mind us Brits chattering away as he was sitting quietly at the bar. He was in Orlando for a golf tournament which as I am not a golfer I don't know which one. Anyway it turns out he's a New York Times best selling author and presenter on the Golf Channel. He invited us to camp in our motorhome next to his golf course in New England. Unfortunately we were unable to do that on our last trip but be warned Matt we could well turn up one day! He keeps in touch on email and has given me some professional advice on the site, so thank you Matt and hopefully see you sometime in the future.
